“Together Let’s Find Love” was sampled by Lauryn Hill on “Doo Wop (That Thing),” off her debut record The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Lauryn Hill is songwriter, producer, vocalist, and hip-hop pioneer from New Jersey and New York.  She is also one third of the Grammy-Award winning group The Fugees.

“Doo Wop (That Thing)” was Hill’s debut solo single for “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.”  The song rose to number 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

It also won 2 Grammys for Best Female R&B Vocal and Best R&B Song, was received with critical acclaim across the world.

Lauryn said it wasn’t always her vision to completely produce and write her own solo album, until she realized her songs were too personal to give away.

Hill said once she started considering the songs for herself, they naturally led her to make "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."

“Together Let’s Find Love” is a track on “Live!!” by The 5th Dimension, the groups live album release from 1971.

The 5th Dimension's release “Live!!” was known to have a California-style sunshine pop sound, influenced by their producer Bones Howe.

“Live!!” is the group’s first release of 3 live albums.  They also have released 13 studio albums and numerous singles, including their 1967 hit “Up, Up and Away.”

“Together Let’s Find Love” was written by singer-songwriter and record producer J.W. Alexander, and vocalist and guitarist Willie Hutch.

J.W. Alexander has also worked with artists like Sam Cooke and Little Richard.

Willie Hutch was best known for “The Mack” soundtrack, and for co-writing Jackson 5’s hit “I’ll Be There.”
