Obama Motivates Hiphop Heavyweights

President Barack Obama has inspired a number of popular hiphop artists. Checkout these Obama themed songs and videos, and tell us what you think.

Young Jeezy featuring NAS - "My President"

Jeezy might motivate the thugs, but President Obama motivates him.  This song contains a number of Jeezy's clever and entertaining street references, but they are definitely second to the message of inspiration.

Jay-Z - "My President Is Black (Remix)"

Checkout Jay-Z's remix.  He switches the ride from a Lamborghini to a Maybach, and speaks to racists who might have a problem with their new leader.

Nas - "Black President"

Nas samples Tupac on a hopeful track called "Black President."  The concept of a President Obama appears to be the answer to Nas' prayers, but he questions if Obama will still care after he wins the election.

6th Sense - Ignite The People (Like Obama)

While 6th might not be a "heavyweight," the hook to this song samples one.  Can you guess who?  It should be obvious as soon as the song starts.  The New York based 6th Sense uses his stomping grounds as the video's backdrop.
