Intel Uses Rap & Hip Hop Group In Brand Effort
Black Eyed Peas have been lined up to help brand the all new Intel product line. Hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas will be helping Intel by promoting its new brands announced this week. The rap group will be performing at Intel’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this Thursday (January 5th) to announce the all new chips, Centrino and the multimedia based Viiv.
Intel’s slogan and logo change are a small part of re-structuring their label lines. Company’s past slogan “Intel Inside” has been updated to “Intel. Leap Ahead.”
Intel’s latest lineup is designed to show their company is ready to shed its reputation for only making pc chips. Their push in new directions involves getting to wireless phones, DVR’s, TV’s, as well as other devices.
Currently Intel is the world leader in microprocessors. Product lineup for Viiv is designed for multimedia based PC’s including the Media Center and more. The Centrino product lineup is designed to be used in low-power devices like cell phones and laptops. A deal has also been struck with Apple to use the new Centrino chips.
