How did you get into Hiphop?: I was born in South Jamaica, Queens, NYC to lifelong NY'ers and hiphop devotees, and lived the first 6 years of my life in and around Rochdale Village (now I live in New Mexico when I'm not in school). My mother and father were from the South Bronx and Bed-Stuy, respectively, and they've always kept reppin' NYC to the max out in the desert. Hiphop music, in the form of mixtape cassettes and years of rap radio on cassette (plus my father's own ill flows - ha!) was a constant presence in my childhood and teenage years. My word is my bond, and I've kept the presence alive through to this day, tryin' to represent NM and NYC all day long!
