With 10-plus years of experience in the music business, Trinidadian-born, Randall "Sickamore" Medford has been heralded as the new generation’s favorite A&R, the music industry's term for a person who finds talent for labels, coaches artists and directs music projects. Developing the successful careers of Travis Scott (Rodeo, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight) and YG (My Krazy Life, Still Brazy) among many others, his A&R smarts have yielded gold and platinum results.
After holding tenures at Atlantic Records, Def Jam and Epic Records, Sickamore is the Senior Vice President of A&R and Creative Director at Interscope Records. Aside from being a savvy A&R man, Sickamore is actively involved in pushing forward the hiphop culture in various capacities with the mission of teaching the fundamentals of artist discovery and development and empowering the creative superstars of tomorrow.
